What does the University of Michigan Credit Union do with your personal information?

Definitions


Affiliates: Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies. UMCU has no affiliates.

Non-affiliates: Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial or non-financial companies. UMCU does not share with non-affiliates so that they can market to you.

Joint Marketing: A formal agreement between non-affiliated financial companies that market your financial products or services. Our joint marketing partners include categories of companies such as financial service providers and insurance companies.


Google Analytics


UMCU uses Google Analytics, a " cookies " service, to track anonymous information about your activities on this site. This includes information about your visit, including your device type, traffic source, geographic area, pages visited, and links clicked. Google “cookies” may also provide some behavioral data, such as your gender and age range. This data is used to understand better how visitors access this site and provide a better overall user experience.

The UMCU Android and iOS (Apple) applications request access to your device photos to utilize our Go Blue Mobile Deposit (Remote Check Deposit Capture) feature. We do not share your images with third parties except those needed to process the check deposit. We do not access or store any photos except those you selected to share the front and back of a check. This information is not used for marketing or other purposes except to enable this application's Go Blue Mobile Deposit feature.
